I'm currently on a 3 month car trip across the U.S. and I used the Gear Boxes to pack my car. I'm driving a Scion XA which is a little hatch back. Needless to say, every inch of space counts! The boxes fit perfectly in the cargo box on top of the car and that's where I'm storing all of my extra clothes. I'm using the gear boxes and drop boxes inside the car, too for books, maps and DVDs. I've got a mud box to store supplies for car maintenance like extra oil, a funnel, rags and some tools (thanks Dad:) I love gadgets so I'm also carrying plenty of Protech Cubes and Padded Cubes for my GPS, power inverter, extra cords, battery chargers, etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on! My car is like a Tetris puzzle with all of the different sized cubes arranged just right to get the best use of the space. Since I'm pretty much living out of my car and since the car is too small to use rolling luggage, these boxes are the next best thing. My car IS the piece of luggage with all of the Pack-It boxes arranging my gear inside!
